Neymar charged for ‘go f*ck yourselves’ upheaval
Neymar has been charged for remarks made after Paris Saint-Germain’s emotional Champions League exit on account of Manchester United.
Following the side’s disposal from European challenge, the Brazil worldwide voiced his conclusions on the web and posted ‘go f*ck yourselves’ on his Instagram.
The forward, who was sidelined with damage for the match, disagreed with the tie-winning punishment that was granted in questionable conditions.
With the tie remaining in a critical state close to the second’s end leg, Diogo Dalot’s shot was hindered at short proximity by Presnel Kimpembe. And keeping in mind that the ref thought the VAR survey was sufficient to grant the match-winning spot-kick, Neymar took issue, posting:
“That is a disgrace! And UEFA still pick four guys who know nothing about football to review the VAR decision in slow motion… that handball simply doesn’t exist!
Editor’s Pick: Nikola Mirotic out two to about a month with thumb damage
“How do you handball behind your back? Ahh.. go f*ck yourselves.”
The charge was affirmed on Friday, with a UEFA explanation perusing:
“Disciplinary proceedings have been opened following the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second leg match between Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United FC (1-3), played on 6 March in France.
“Charges against Paris Saint-Germain: Player Neymar Junior – Insulting / molesting acts against match official (statements made by the player following the above-mentioned match) – Art. 15 (1) (d) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations.
“The case will be dealt with by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body with the date of the hearing yet to be confirmed.”
Neymar has been out of activity since January 23 subsequent to enduring foot damage in PSG’s 2-0 triumph over Strasbough in Ligue 1.
